Is there really a pink wire in chinese mopeds to make them go faster?

i heard on youtube that there's a pink wire in the cdi that if you cut it make your moped go faster i have a lingben lb50qt-21 moped 4 stroke if anyone else has any other suggestions would mean a lot thanks
