Question for anyone that knows anything about government law enforcement/intelligence agencies.?
Definitely go to college first (if you can't afford it, take out loans). Study Arabic or Chinese. These are going to be the most needed languages in the next few decades. If you still want to pursue a life in the military afterwards, you will automatically become an officer (more respect) and the government will help you pay off your loans. If given the opportunity, no one should p up the chance to go to college. It's truly one of the best things you can do for yourself and your career, and as a bonus, it's going to be the best time of your life as well. In college, explore areas of study that interest you, but be practical. What skills will help you earn a job afterwards? Some areas of study are fun to study, but have no real work application (unless you want to teach philosophy, Zen Buddhism, etc...). Good luck.
