Did anyone else kind of fall for Lars in "Lars and the Real Girl"?

I've just been watching this movie, haven't finished it yet, but I found him to be soooo cute. If I met him in real life and saw him with Bianca, I think I would want to save him. He was just so sweet and eccentric and interesting and handsome. But it's mainly because he's just so different and a bit lost that would make me want to be with him. So. I'm wondering if that's what a lot of women feel when watching Lars or am I just a bit odd too?
