Any pet for a college student who works part time?

have you considered a snake, they are awsome pets, and dont need that much attention, plus when they are old you can feed them only once a week, very cool to interact with, and well yea thier fun, uhh i dont recomend birds because they are smart and will get very bored and lonly, fish are cool but not for everyone, rodents require space and time,dogs time, cats make a mess an time, uhh yeaa thats a bout it sorry i couldnt be more helpful
