it has nothing to do with the loss of a pregnancy....in fact, it goes on to state, that if her belly and thigh doesnt swell with rotting, from the drink, she will go on to concieve with her husband....the woman is NOT pregnant during this ritual. The page doesnt even suggest that lightly
