Should you teach a child that sacrificing humans to a god is primitive, savage and totally uncivilised?

Precisely. If there is an omnipotent god, would such a god need human sacrifice? Does an omnipotent god need to redeem (sinners) from something (hell) or someone (Satan)? If he does, that means god has to have an offering of that sacrifice (human) to pay to someone or something greater than him? A redemption is payment, and payment has to be made to someone (Satan?) and it defeats the logical attribute of an omnipotent being!
