Friends for 2y, dating for 2mo. How can I break up with him & go back to being friends?

sorry to say it honey, but i don't think its possible. guys have their pride and all, so even though you we're friends for two years, its only going to be the last two months that count in his brain. he's going to wonder why you're rejecting him now even though you knew what he was like for two years, and he just won't understand it. i'm not some kind of guy-hater, but they just don't think like us, everything has to be so simple and straightforward for them. anything complicated and forget it.
