Why don't men like using the shorter water fountain?

So, I was at Bally and I noticed that more often than not, men- because I only noticed men using the water fountain- will rather wait for the current person to get off the taller water fountain than use to perfectly good shorter one. Now, I'm not talking about a first grade sized one; the water fountains were different by half a foot and both- I tested them both- worked and were just as clean as the other. Anyone know why this could be and if possible, could you explain it in terms of psychology- preferably psychodynamic?
