Suggest a brilliant book for me?

I won't have anything to read soon so i want to find something good. i like most genres really, i'm fifteen but i don't really like books aimed towards teenagers unless they have really interesting story lines. I've just finished reading the Sookie Stackhouse Novels but that doesn't mean i definitely want a book about vampires ha ha. i'd like a really interesting book, something sad, romantic, a bit of everything. i guess i'll go for anything, please suggest a good book for me, or something that you've loved and say why you liked it?
