How do you straighten up?

I have recently acquired a job where I'm surrounded by people who I have nothing in common with. I'm from the city and I used to work in the fashion industry, where I was used to dressing up and going out to lounges, cles, shopping, humanitarian stuff, poetry slams, etc. But I recently enlisted and live in an area where fishing, football, cars, camping, and mudding are the extent of my superior's/acquaintance's' extracurricular activities. I'll admit, I'm not the straightest stick in the forest, but I find that the everyday, rustic, "alpha-male" disgusts me. Not to mention I act gay. So what should I do? How do I integrate my lifestyle with theirs? How do I get interested in football like all the burly men? How am I supposed to conduct myself at work? How do I gain their respect without forgetting who I am and standing up for what I believe in?
