Does a religion like Christianity make honest people dishonest?

Christianity, like all religions, is based some core dogmatic principles. There is a god, the bible is the word of this god, Jesus was real, Jesus was the son of this god, people have souls, there is an afterlife and people’s souls face judgment in the afterlife. These are all examples of Christian dogma and it is dogma because there is no evidence for any of it yet every Christian will swear blindly that this stuff is the truth beyond doubt. This counts as an act of dishonesty, right? Because if these people were honest, they would admit that there is no evidence for it and they merely hope and believe it is the truth, right? But no Christian ever admits this because to admit it is to admit that Christianity has very weak foundations. So do you think most Christians are born as honest people but Christianity makes them become dishonest because dishonesty is the only way Christianity can survive?
