I get an error message when I access a site advertising jobs. a) what does it mean b) how do I fix it?

Nothing you can do about this error other than try using it later and hope that they (those who own the website) fix the error. Its a server side exception, i think server is running dot net and getting some bad data. Best you can do is inform them of this error along with error details.
